Growth & Digital Marketing Manager · SEO, Content, Lifecycle & AI

I build brands, ship products, and win championships.

A growth and digital marketing manager with over 10 years owning acquisition end to end across Nigeria, Australia, the US and Europe. The through-line: I own outcomes, not just strategy.

I was part of the team that launched OPay in Nigeria. I helped raise $348K on Indiegogo for Volta Chargers in Australia, covered by 9to5Mac. I built $120K+ attributable revenue at APEK with zero paid budget. I led the PR team that backed Nigeria to their second consecutive MEA Rugby League Championship. Then I built an entire AI platform in 2 months as a personal project alongside a full-time job because I couldn't find one that served African professionals properly: and it now has 300 users, 195 of them active in the last 30 days, purely on word of mouth.

Currently based in Lagos, Nigeria. Two MScs in Digital Marketing & Business Transformation (Rome Business School & VIU Spain). Open to senior marketing leadership roles locally and internationally.

The problem

African professionals navigating global job markets face a unique set of frictions. CV systems built for Western formats. Job platforms that don't speak their language (literally). No career intelligence tuned to African market realities. And no AI assistant that could switch between English and Pidgin in the same conversation.

I couldn't find a platform that solved this. So I built one as a personal project: working evenings and nights alongside a full-time role at AdninCap. Approximately 2 months later it was live, with real users, real job matches, and zero marketing spend.

What I built

CV Parser & Job Fit Scorer

Users upload their CV, Padi parses it and scores fit against any job description: match percentage plus gap analysis.

Padi · Multilingual AI Assistant

Claude Haiku-powered career coach in English, Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo, and Hausa. Built for Nigerian linguistic reality.

Cover Letter Generator

Tailored cover letters generated from CV + job description context, editable and exportable.

Kanban Job Pipeline Tracker

Visual board tracking applications across stages: applied, interviewing, offer, rejected.

Freemium Monetisation · 5 Tiers

Free → Starter → Pro → Pro+ → Career Sprint. PadCoins referral system. Paystack live from Day 1.

Voyage AI Semantic Matching

Vector embeddings for job matching: finds relevant roles even when exact terms differ.

Tech stack

Solo-architected and built. Every design decision, infrastructure choice, and product trade-off was mine. Zero external engineers. Evenings and nights only, while holding a full-time role at AdninCap.

The challenge

Two products. Two audiences. Two distinct brand voices, competitive landscapes, and growth levers. One marketing seat. AdCap operates in fintech: competitive, regulated, trust-driven. EduAid Africa is edtech: mission-driven, community-led, but commercially pressured. The brief: grow both simultaneously without diluting either.

Growth strategy

  • Multi-channel growth architecture: separate content calendars, tone guides, and audience segmentation for each brand, running in parallel without brand bleed
  • Narrative-driven integrated campaigns: storytelling that reduced CAC by 20% by cutting reliance on promotional messaging
  • Automated lead nurturing workflows: sequences yielding a 12% lift in lead-to-customer conversion
  • Regional acquisition funnel A/B testing: landing page variants boosting web-to-app CTR by 50%
  • Cross-functional workflow standardisation: shared creative briefing systems maintaining 100% brand coherence

SEO overhaul · ranking EduAid Africa on Google

Beyond campaign performance, I executed a full SEO overhaul across both EduAid Africa and AdCap: restructuring content architecture, optimising on-page elements, and building topical authority. The results for EduAid Africa were measurable and significant.

  • Ranked #1 on Google for "EduAid Africa": brand search fully owned, no competitor or third-party ranking above us
  • Top 10 ranking for "educational aid in Nigeria": a high-intent keyword in a competitive edtech category, confirmed via Google Search
  • Content architecture restructured across both AdCap and EduAid: landing pages, blog structure, and meta framework rebuilt for search visibility
  • On-page optimisation across all key pages: headings, internal linking, schema, and page speed improvements

Webinars · creating & hosting live programmes

Created and hosted webinars for both AdCap and EduAid Africa: planned content, managed speakers, promoted the sessions, and hosted live. Webinars served as a lead generation and community-building tool, supporting both brand awareness and conversion goals across the two product verticals.

Javat365 : $120K+ Revenue in 5 Years. Zero Paid Budget.

The brief

APEK Group needed to build Javat365 into a sustainable, revenue-generating business. The constraint: zero paid acquisition budget. My mandate was to build the content engine, grow organic presence, secure partnerships, and connect all of it to revenue that leadership could evaluate.

What I built from scratch

  • Launched javat365.com: contributed to the initial platform build and positioned it for search-driven growth from day one
  • Wrote all blog content: every article researched, written, and published by me, targeting SEO keywords for the core audience
  • Created all how-to guides: practical, search-optimised guides driving high-intent traffic
  • Video production and editing: end-to-end video content including promotional and educational formats
  • Social media content creation: built and managed all social media channels, producing consistent content across platforms to grow and engage the Javat365 audience
  • All marketing materials: designed and produced the full suite of marketing collateral including flyers, banners, digital ads, presentation decks, and event materials

Partnership campaign · 20+ institutions

I led a structured partnership development campaign that signed 20+ institutions as official Javat365 partners. The flagship moment: Javat365 v2.0 co-launched at The Caladium Lagos SME Bootcamp 2022: positioning the platform in front of Nigeria's SME ecosystem with institutional backing.

The attribution framework

  • Identified which content pieces drove the highest-value leads through first-touch and assisted attribution
  • Implemented tracking enabling leadership to evaluate channel performance and content ROI precisely
  • Used the framework to prioritise content investment: doubling down on high-converting topic clusters
  • Reduced average page load time by 3 seconds through technical SEO, improving both rankings and conversion

Result: $120,000+ in attributable revenue over 5 years: all organic, all earned, all traceable from keyword to conversion.

Need an organic growth system that attributes revenue?

That's exactly what I build. Let's talk.

The product

Volta Chargers was an Australian hardware startup solving one of tech's most frustrating losses: the removal of MagSafe from MacBooks. The Volta XL was a fast-charging USB-C cable with a built-in magnetic connector: bringing MagSafe-style safety and convenience to any USB-C device, including MacBook Pro, Nintendo Switch, and Android. It supported up to 87W charging and magnetic disconnect so trips on the cable wouldn't drag your laptop to the floor.

The Volta XL received coverage in 9to5Mac, which described it as an "ingenious solution" for MacBook users who missed MagSafe. The Indiegogo campaign reached 3,948% of its original funding target within days of launch, driven by the quality of the campaign assets and viral tech media pickup.

My role · campaign assets & content

Indiegogo Campaign Video

Created the primary video and animated campaign assets for the Volta XL crowdfunding launch. These assets were the lead conversion driver for the $348K raise from 2,800+ backers.

SEO Content Production

Produced 30+ SEO-optimised articles and landing pages that contributed directly to a 40% growth in organic traffic over the campaign period.

Editorial Systems

Implemented structured editorial workflows with the product and marketing teams, supporting 250% audience growth over two years.

Cross-functional Launch Team

Part of the Volta 2.0 product release team that generated $300,000 in organic revenue alongside the crowdfunding campaign.

Results & Proof Links

  • $348,000 raised on Indiegogo from 2,800+ backers: from campaign assets I created
  • Campaign reached 3,948% of its original funding target: a viral result for a hardware product

OPay & OTrike : Launching a Fintech Giant Across Eastern Nigeria

As part of the founding team that brought OPay to Nigeria, I led the marketing campaign for the OTrike division's launch across 4 cities in Eastern Nigeria: producing localised creative, activating riders, and achieving 100% sign-up growth in two consecutive quarters, with state government endorsement at the Enugu launch.

The context · OPay in Nigeria

OPay (Opera Pay) entered the Nigerian market in 2018 as a mobile payments platform backed by Opera Software. Within a year, it had diversified aggressively: launching ORide (motorcycle hailing), OFood (food delivery), OBus, and OTrike: a tricycle (Keke Napep) hailing service designed to bring technology and dignity to one of Nigeria's most prolific informal transport sectors.

I was part of the founding Nigerian team. My mandate was to lead the graphic design and content operation supporting the OTrike rollout across Eastern Nigeria, working with operations and marketing teams on the ground.

The Enugu launch · a public affair

The Enugu launch was OTrike's most visible Eastern Nigeria activation, covered by Premium Times, Pulse Nigeria, and Tekedia. The Enugu State Ministry of Transport's Permanent Secretary, Mr Ogbonna Idike, graced the occasion and commended OPay for "bringing dignity to the riders in the state." A unique security number system was introduced on all OTrike vehicles: a first for the Eastern region, initiated by the Enugu State government as part of the launch.

The Enugu launch introduced a N100-per-trip promotional rate for October 2019, regardless of destination: a campaign decision that drove rapid rider and user adoption. The state government's public endorsement created earned media amplification beyond any paid campaign.

My work · creative & campaign

Localised Rebrand Assets

Developed all OTrike rebrand campaign assets for the Eastern region: visuals adapted for local context and rider culture across Enugu, Onitsha, Aba, and Uyo.

Rider Activation Materials

Created all rider-facing onboarding and activation assets: print, digital, and in-person materials bringing Keke riders into the OPay ecosystem across 4 cities.

Regional Digital Growth

Supported digital growth strategy driving +150% social media engagement in 6 months through campaign content and community activation.

Ops & Marketing Alignment

Worked cross-functionally with operations teams to align rider onboarding efficiency with marketing messaging from app download to first trip.

Results & Press

  • +30% app download growth over a 6-month Q-to-Q cycle across the Eastern region
  • 100% increase in rider sign-ups across 2 consecutive quarters via localised activation campaigns
  • +150% social media engagement in 6 months across key platforms
  • OTrike expanded from Enugu to Onitsha, Aba, and Uyo within the campaign window
  • Enugu State Ministry of Transport endorsement secured at the launch event: boosting credibility and earned media

I led the marketing and PR team that accompanied Nigeria's national rugby league side to the 2022 MEA Championship in Ghana. The tournament

The 2022 Middle East & Africa Rugby League Championship was the third edition of the MEA Championship, held between 27 September and 2 October 2022 in Ghana. Four nations competed: Nigeria (defending champions, world ranking #28, coached by Bolu Fagborun), Ghana (hosts), Cameroon, and Kenya. Nigeria's squad included players from English Super League clubs including Abdullah Balogun (Castleford Tigers) and Daniel Okoro (Hull KR).

Nigeria defeated Cameroon in the semi-final, then demolished hosts Ghana 30–4 in the final at the University of Ghana in Accra, retaining the MEA title for the second consecutive time. Kenya defeated Cameroon 16–0 to take third place. Nigeria cemented their position as Africa's dominant rugby league nation.

My role · marketing & PR

On-ground PR Lead

Led the marketing and PR team that accompanied the Nigeria Rugby League team throughout the Ghana campaign. Managed all media relations, press activities, and real-time communications across the 4-match tournament.

Design System · Still in Use Today

Created the complete set of design templates for Nigeria Rugby League: match day assets, social media templates, and brand materials. These templates remain in active use by the organisation today.

Social Media Coverage

Managed real-time social media coverage: match updates, player features, and post-match content documenting Nigeria's journey from pool stage to championship victory.

Media Production

Produced all content and media documentation across the campaign: from pre-tournament build-up through the championship victory and post-match coverage in Accra.

Tournament results

POOL
Pool Stage (27–29 September 2022): Nigeria and Ghana advance from the pool stage. Nigeria set up a semi-final against Cameroon; Ghana faced Kenya as hosts.
SF
Semi-Finals (30 September 2022): Nigeria defeat Cameroon and advance to the final. Ghana defeat Kenya 26–6 in the other semi-final.
3RD
Third Place (2 October 2022): Kenya 16 · Cameroon 0 (Kenya take third place at the 2022 MEA Championship).
FINAL
Final (2 October 2022 · University of Ghana, Accra): Nigeria 30 · Ghana 4. Nigeria retain the MEA Championship. Second consecutive title. Africa's dominant rugby league nation. I was in the PR team on the ground as this moment unfolded.

Legacy & Proof Links

Beyond the championship result, the design work I produced during this campaign created a lasting institutional asset. The templates I built (for match day communications, social media, and brand identity) remain in active use by the Nigeria Rugby League Association today, continuing to represent the organisation's visual identity in all subsequent campaigns.

I market teams that win.

From national sports campaigns to brand launches: I bring the same intensity to every brief.
